God I love Indian food. The biryani was great, served with some sort of cool cucumber sauce that was wonderfully complementary. It was so good, in fact, that I decided to venture into the land of deserts. I asked our server what she reccommended, and she was awesome at walking me through how to pronounce everything, and what it was made of. Her "it's like tiny balls of cheese in maple syrup" descrption of the Lush Gulab Jamun was intriguing enough to order, but sadly, it was... well Kate liked it at least.

Kate: Robust Chicken Curry and Garlic Naan
I can be a pretty adventuresome eater, but chicken curry sounded so good that I went the safe route and ordered it. It was yummy. Great blend of spices and the chicken was cooked just right. The waitress, however, recommended that I share Kristin's rice with her, which was not a good move. I could have gotten another meal out of mine with more rice. And, I felt bad taking Kristin's rice. But, it was good. The naan was also very good and hearty.
As Kristin mentioned, I did enjoy her dessert. It was different. Intriguing. Probably won't order it again, but I am glad I tried it.
I will definitely visit Saffron again!
